ISBUC PI Day 2026

We are very pleased to invite all ISBUC group leaders to the 2026 ISBUC Principal Investigator Day. The ISBUC Principal Investigator Day is a half-day internal workshop for ISBUC Principal Investigators only.

The purpose of the meeting is to promote an integrated approach to structural biology at the University of Copenhagen. During the workshop, a range of ISBUC researchers from a variety of departments at both SUND and SCIENCE will give a glimpse into their current and future research directions, the methods they use and identify any opportunities for collaborations with other ISBUC researchers. The day will conclude with the annual ISBUC PI sit-down dinner.

Research Showcases: Get a glimpse of current and future research directions from ISBUC PIs

At the ISBUC PI Day, ISBUC researchers will give a glimpse into their current and future research directions, the methods they use and any opportunities for collaborations. The current line-up of presenters include Associate Professor Karen Martinez (CHEM), Associate Professor Amelie Stein (BIO), Professor Anja Fuglsang (PLEN), Associate Professor Kenneth Madsen (IN), Professor Claus Løland (IN), Assistant Professor Weria Pezeshkian (NBI), Associate Professor Azadeh Shazahar (ILF), Associate Professor Pétur Orri Heiðarsson (BIO), Professor Birthe B. Kragelund (BIO), Professor Anders Bach (ILF) and Associate Professor Katrine Schjoldager (ICMM). 

Election of four new members to the ISBUC Steering Committee

In 2026, we would like to invite four new group leaders from the ISBUC community to join the ISBUC Steering Committee. The ISBUC Steering Committee meets once a month throughout the year and helps to plan all of the wonderful activities that bind the ISBUC community together.
