PhD Course: GPCR Structure - Function: Suitable Methods and Tools
The course will give an overview of current knowledge about GPCR structure and function in five key areas:
- GPCR signaling today
- GPCR function in cells: from investigations with cell-based assays in bulk to single molecule studies
- GPCR biochemistry: from heterologous expression to GPCR reconstitution in artificial systems
- GPCR structure at the molecular level: Xray crystallography and CryoEM
- New molecules for GPCRs: ligands and biosensors
The course will include:
- Plenary lectures
- ‘Meet the Pharma’ workshop
- One-day symposium with international guest speakers
- Virtual Reality Workshop “Dive into a GPCR”
During the course, you will meet international speakers in the field, and hear about GPCR investigation in the Pharmaceutical industry
