The 2024 ISBUC PI Day will be a fantastic event, with a number of exciting events planned:
Research Showcases: Get a glimpse of current and future research directions from ISBUC PIs
At the ISBUC PI Day, ISBUC researchers will give a glimpse into their current and future research directions, the methods they use and any opportunities for collaborations. The current line-up of presenters include Professor Anders Bach (ILF), Associate Professor Rosa Laura Lopez Marquez (PLEN), Professor Kaare Telium (BIO), Tenure Track Assistant Professor Federica Sebastiani (IF), Assistant Professor Signe Mathiasen (BMI) and Professor Jon Sporring (DIKU). Inspirational talk by Trevor Forsythe: Learn all about the LINXS center at Lund
The Institute of Advanced Neutron and X-ray Science (LINXS) at Lund is a exciting and inspirational hub for interdisciplinary collaboration within the field of structural biology and there are numerous opportunities for ISBUC researchers to get involved. This talk will help to build bridges between ISBUC and LINXS and will also serve as inspiration for our internal workshop on the future of ISBUC.
ISBUC workshop: A workshop to get your input on the future of ISBUC
In 2024, we will celebrate five years of further funding for ISBUC, which has been awarded by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. To mark the beginning of this new phase, we would like to spend some time reflecting on ISBUC and getting feedback from the ISBUC community about our activities and plans. This will be your opportunity to influence the future of ISBUC.
Election of two new members to the ISBUC Steering Committee
In 2024, we would like to invite two new group leaders from the ISBUC community to join the ISBUC Steering Committee. The ISBUC Steering Committee meets once a month throughout the year and helps to plan all of the wonderful activities that bind the ISBUC community together. Dinner at Bæst: A dinner to celebrate five years of further funding for ISBUC
