On March 29th, Junior ISBUC will host a Lunch Talk by Simon Erlendsson, Specialist in Structure and Interactions at Novo Nordisk. This event is open for all interested BSc, MSc, PhD students, postdocs and Assistant Professors.

Simon will talk about the work he carried out at the MRC-LMB in Cambridge and at the University of Copenhagen on the topic of employing cryo electron microscopy and tomography to determine structures within native cellular environments. He will also talk about how structural biology research in academia translates into research and drug development within the pharmaceutical industry.

As always, pizza will be served at 12.00, the talk will kick off at 12.15 and we will wrap up around 13.00.

The Junior ISBUC Lunch Talks are a space for junior researchers to connect with each other and hear about the latest structural biology research happening here in Copenhagen. Each month, we invite a recently established independent researcher from either academia or industry to discuss their research. In addition, they will talk about their careers, giving guidance and advice for junior researchers interested in securing a permanent position.
